1. Who provides this service
AssetClear Australia is the trading name displayed on this website. The operator's legal name, ABN (where applicable), business contact details and service address must be published before commercial launch. We are not AFSA or the Australian Government. No government endorsement or authorisation is claimed.
By using the service you agree to these terms. Before submitting a search, you must confirm the acknowledgement on the search form. If you do not agree, do not submit a search.
2. What we provide
The intended paid service is a PPSR search using the serial number supplied by you (a vehicle VIN, marine HIN or equipment serial number) and a readable summary of the returned records. Availability depends on upstream services. An AssetClear summary is not an official government certificate or legal, financial, insurance or mechanical advice. Demo results are fictional, cannot support a purchase decision and do not establish legal protection. See the Report Disclaimer.
3. Your responsibilities
You must be at least 18, or have appropriate authority, to purchase a service. Provide an accurate serial number, match it to the asset and use the service lawfully. Do not attempt unauthorised access, automated abuse, interference or misleading alterations of reports. Do not represent demo records as real records or an AssetClear document as a government certificate. You may keep and privately share an unaltered summary, subject to applicable law and third-party data rights.
4. Prices, payment and delivery
Paid checkout is not available in this preview. For a future paid search, the total price in Australian dollars, including applicable taxes and fees, must be displayed before authorisation. A search is a one-off purchase, not a subscription. The service price may differ from the fee for searching directly at ppsr.gov.au. Results are intended to be delivered on screen; save a copy before leaving. We do not promise an email archive or a permanent hosted report.
5. Consumer guarantees and refunds
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law. Services must be provided with due care and skill and meet other applicable guarantees. You may be entitled to a remedy, including a refund, for a service failure. Our Refund Policy does not replace those rights.
6. Limitations and liability
Records are a point-in-time snapshot and may contain omissions, delays or errors. Do not rely on a search as your only purchase check. To the extent permitted by law, we do not promise uninterrupted access or warrant matters beyond the scope of the search, such as the condition or ownership of the asset. We remain responsible for obligations and liabilities that the law does not permit us to exclude. No term makes you waive non-excludable rights or makes a demo report suitable for a real transaction.
7. Privacy and sharing
Read the Privacy & Cookies Policy for information about search data and service providers. You control whether to copy, download or share a report. You are responsible for choosing recipients and checking you have any necessary permission to disclose information.
8. Changes, complaints and applicable law
Changes apply prospectively from publication and do not remove rights attached to an earlier purchase. Australian law applies, subject to mandatory protections that apply to you. No exclusive forum is imposed to remove consumer rights. Please contact us first about a dispute; you may also contact your state or territory consumer protection agency or the ACCC for information about your rights.
