Information processed
A search submits the serial number and a payment-intent identifier to our server. Real payment processing, when enabled, associates a serial number with a payment record at Stripe. If you contact support, we receive the details you provide. Hosting and service providers may process IP addresses, browser information, timestamps, errors and request logs for delivery, security and troubleshooting. A serial number or report can become personal information when linked with an identifiable person.
How information is used
Information is used to fulfil your requested search, verify payment where applicable, deliver results, investigate faults or fraud, respond to support requests and meet legal obligations. This application does not implement a customer account, marketing list, advertising tracker or report-history database. That does not mean the hosting or payment providers keep no records. Do not submit information about another person without appropriate authority.
Providers and overseas processing
The service is hosted on Google Cloud (Cloud Run, Sydney region). Stripe is the intended payment processor and the Australian PPSR is the intended search source; demo mode uses sample records instead. These providers may process or store information in Australia or overseas according to their services and policies. The operator must confirm the actual recipients, countries and safeguards before a paid launch. See Google Cloud privacy and Stripe privacy.
Retention and security
We aim to limit collected information to what is needed for the service. Reports in page memory are lost when that session is closed or refreshed; this does not delete server logs, payment records or copies you download. Actual hosting log, support and payment retention periods, access controls and deletion processes must be documented before commercial launch. Records may need to be retained for tax, legal, fraud or dispute obligations. No transmission or storage method is completely secure.
Access, correction and complaints
Contact the operator to ask what personal information is held about you, request access or correction, or raise a privacy concern. We may need proportionate verification before responding. Where the Privacy Act 1988 and Australian Privacy Principles apply, we will handle requests and complaints according to those obligations. You can consult the OAIC about Australian privacy complaints.
A support address has not yet been published. This service is in preview; paid searches are not available. A working support and privacy contact must be published before the paid service opens. For government PPSR enquiries, use PPSR contact information.
