A snapshot, not a complete history
Results depend on the identifier entered and the information available at the time. Security-interest, stolen and written-off records may be delayed, incomplete or corrected later. A security-interest registration does not confirm the amount owing. Registration and descriptive information should be checked with the relevant authority and the asset itself.
What a report does not prove
A search does not establish ownership, a seller's authority, roadworthiness, safety, mechanical condition, service history, every accident, odometer or hours accuracy, insurance eligibility, registration validity or the absence of fraud. "No flags found" means only that the returned search did not identify those flags. No promise of a risk-free purchase is made.
Independent checks and legal protection
Use the buying checklist, arrange an inspection and obtain professional advice for flagged records or uncertainty. Whether a PPSR search gives a buyer a legal protection depends on the law and circumstances, including timing and search accuracy. This website does not determine that protection for you.
Demo reports
A report labelled DEMO contains fictional records even if you enter a real serial number. It is not evidence about that asset and must never be used for purchase, finance, insurance or legal decisions.
